This week's 52 Lists, Week 8 from MOOREASEAL'S project I think is my absolute favorite. I had so much fun finding all my favorites! Music makes my world go round and I just love to rock it out! I sing in my car ALWAYS, I sometimes sing in the shower, and my ipod is jam packed with songs from all over the place. When people ask me "What type of music I like?" I usually tell them to sit down and ask them if they an hour or so to listen because there is just so much music that I like! I also feel that music can tell you SOO much about a person too. But seriously if you love music, you rock in my book! =)
But I never realized how hard it was to actually list out albums these days... Apparently I am a big fan of the One-Hit-Wonders, not the movie, the genre of music. Those bands that obliterate all the competition with one awesome song and then fade away to never be heard from again. Perfect example..."Take on Me" by Aha or "Take my Picture" by Filter. No one knows anything else from either of them, yet they are two of my favorite songs, so I wouldn't list their albums as my favorites because I don't know anything else by them. The albums I am about to list here will be the ones where I just love almost every song and others have found a lil place in my heart that I always will have to crank up the volume if I hear them.
Here are some of my Week 8 List of my favorite albums AND my boyfriend Craig has actually decided to join me on this lil list adventure because he is my favorite music man. His list will be last! =)

If you like these lists, go check out MOOREASEAL's 52 List Project! =)
That's quite a musical variety!! Whenever someone asks me that, I always tell them my favorite artists rather than albums because I listen to such a crazy mix and they are not categorized by album. Some of my favorite artists are: Jason Mraz, Ron Pope, Jason Reeves, Emerson Hart, Norah Jones, Dashboard Confessional, and SecondHand Serenade.
ReplyDeleteWow - you and I have a lot in common with music taste!! :)
ReplyDeletereally cool music! need to check some of it out, although we do have some in common!

ReplyDeleteYes there are some great albums on here, and such a diverse list. Check the post I did yesterday on a one Mr Diamond Rings, very talented young man that is if you like retro 80s inspired synth pop and boys with bleach blonde flattops and lipstick.
